San Diego: Travel Photography

Recently I traveled to San Diego, CA to shoot a wedding with my friend Darbi. While we were there I managed to get a few shots just for me, and I came to the conclusion that California suits me well. One of my favorite parts was all the vibrant colors running ramped everywhere. Flowers just comb the hill sides in a variety of oranges and purples. As a photographer it satisfies my color appetite!

Sadly since I was not there for personal reasons, I was unable to take as many pictures of the city as I normally would. In fact most of the pictures I took were in La Jolla, a little town close to San Diego. However, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

California photographers are so lucky. Look at this beautiful golden light, and these vibrant colors.

This is La Jolla! I could have spent a whole day there just wandering around.
Ummm Helloooooo isn’t this freaking sweet! Have you ever seen seals like that? A zoo just can’t compare. I loved them and envied the fact that they could be lazy and sunbath on this rock all day. What an awesome way to pass the time!   

We’ll end with a picture actually of San Diego.

I really wasn’t ready to come back. I don’t mind calling the midwest my home, but I am deeply jealous of all the color, beach, and nice weather that San Diego has to offer.
