Killarney is a popular tourist spot. Surrounded by the Killarney National Park and the Ring of Kerry there’s a pretty definitive reason why.
On my visit I spent one day biking through the park and exploring the pubs. I met some wonderful ladies from Australia and we spent the night chatting and listening to some live Irish Music. The second day I bought a ticket for the Ring of Kerry tour bus. So many unbelievable views. My camera just does not do this place justice.

On my tour of the Ring of Kerry the bus made a pit stop for the lookout pictured above. We also had the option of a sheep herding demonstration. The farmer (below) showed us all the different varieties of sheep as well as explaining and demonstrating how they teach the dogs to herd sheep. It really was a fascinating demonstration. Well worth the pushing and shoving of all the people trying to find a viewing spot..jpg)

Below is “Ladies View.” The name originates from Queen Victoria’s ladies-in-waiting during their 1861 visit..jpg)
