Sara & Sean: St. Charles, MO Couple Photography

My gorgeous friend Sara got married last year, and asked me to take pictures at her wedding. Sadly, due to the fact I was already booked that day, I was unable to shoot Sara and Sean’s wedding. Then awhile ago I ran into Sara, and again she told me how disappointed she was I hadn’t been able to take her wedding pictures. Sad at hearing this I suggested we do a Day After Session (well at this point it was more like a several months after session). I told Sara she could put her dress back on, grab Sean, and we could go to some fun locations and take the pictures she really wanted.

So this past weekend we made it happen, and the shoot started off in historic downtown St. Charles, MO St. Charles, MO Couple PhotographySt. Charles, MO Couple PhotographySt. Charles, MO Couple PhotographySt. Charles, MO Couple PhotographySt. Charles, MO Couple PhotographySt. Charles, MO Couple Photography

I loved Sara’s dress. It was so simple but then WHAM . . . you have this amazing flower detail!

I loved this setting with the gazebo in the background. Unfortunately, I had only fired off a few shots, before some very inconsiderate people decided to go sit up on the gazebo stairs. I mean really people-come on!!!!! It would have probably been way more upsetting, but after seeing this shot on my camera screen I knew we had at least ONE amazing shot with the gazebo. So instead of getting really irrate, I just switched angles.  St. Charles, MO Couple PhotographySt. Charles, MO Couple PhotographySt. Charles, MO Couple Photography

Sara had brought a quilt along for the shoot. After seeing this pretty grassy area, I decided it was time to utilize said quilt. St. Charles, MO Couple PhotographySt. Charles, MO Couple Photography

Ring Shot = LOVE!!!!!

About halfway into the shoot, we decided it was time to pull out the everyday clothes.  St. Charles, MO Couple Photography

The change in clothes must have brought out their goofy side . . .

As the sun started setting we headed off to New Town. New Town is a gorgeous little area with brightly colored houses, cute little park areas, and a stream/lake paired with stone and iron bridges. Unfortanetly as the name implies New Town is NEW!!!! And while it would otherwise be a photographer’s paradise there a very few trees. The importance of this you may ask???? Well it Means, the only time to shoot there and get beautiful light is right after sunrise or before sunset. So that is just what we did!!!St. Louis, MO Couple Photography

Did I say gorgeous light or what????St. Louis, MO Couple PhotographySt. Louis, MO Couple PhotographySt. Louis, MO Couple PhotographySt. Louis, MO Couple Photography
